Open a session — then move one bar

The first replay loop is Play, Pause, Step, and End — not a prettier workspace.

Direct answer

After Free EURUSD is on the machine, the next decision is not which indicator pack to load. It is whether you can run one tiny loop inside a Training session.

On a BarionQuant desk, that loop is: leave “Training · No session,” open a session, press Play briefly, then Pause, Step once, then End. On the shipping build, Play is a labeled control; Pause and Step are icon buttons. The registered handbook lesson for the first 15 minutes carries the click order. This public page only names the loop so you know what counts before you decorate.

We are not a broker. Buy and Sell on a training chart are paper simulation, not a live ticket.

How to judge

Are you still on No session?

An empty desk can look “set up” and still be idle. The capture below shows Training · No session, a New Training control, and a Training Journal line that says no journal entries yet — end a training session to archive automatically. The QA Expire / QA Logout strip is lab chrome. It is not the store installer.

If the title bar still says No session, rearranging panels does not count. Start a Training session first.

Can the transport move the tape?

Soft4FX’s public homepage, opened 2026-09-22, lists Pause and resume, Make it faster or slower, Step candle-by-candle, and Rewind candle-by-candle as part of replaying the market. That is a fair description of what a replay control row is for.

On our desk, the first loop uses the same idea without living inside MetaTrader: Play, Pause, and Step on a local Training chart. This page does not paste the handbook click table.

A session capture shows EURUSD M15 with Play and Step on the transport row, a replay range on the strip, and paper Buy / Sell on the chart. Indicators on that capture are decoration. They are not part of the first loop. Strategy test in the chrome is not the first loop either.

Did you End before you decorated?

The empty-desk journal copy already says archiving waits on ending a training session. Play without End leaves the sitting open. Indicators, themes, and a second symbol can wait until one loop is closed.

Download’s Getting started list ends on Pull EURUSD and start a local replay session. That is the door into this loop, not a substitute for End.

Free EURUSD is enough to rehearse the loop. A paid seat deepens the handbook. We ship the Windows build today — not Mac, not a browser replay. We do not ask for a broker deposit on Download or Pricing.

FAQ

Is Play the same as Strategy Tester?

No. Strategy Tester is a different job. The first loop is a Training session you Play, Pause, Step, and End.

Are the Buy and Sell buttons a broker ticket?

No. On the training chart they are paper simulation. We are not a broker.

Where is the click-by-click list?

In the registered Learn lesson for the first 15 minutes after install. This Blog page is the judgment frame only.
